A Little About Me
I am very proud to serve you as the principal of Coder Elementary. I have been married to my husband Curtis for twenty-two years, we have a daughter Riley, who is a Sophomore at Texas Tech in Lubbock and a son Lee, who is a sophomore at Aledo HIgh School.
I have taught in HEB ISD, Aledo ISD, Wimberley ISD, and Bridgeport ISD. I taught in Aledo for two years and then moved for a job opportunity for my husband. I came back to Aledo ISD as soon as I could and taught at McAnally for one year. Then I became the assistant principal at Stuard Elementary.
I enjoy spending time with my family, running, and riding my bike. Curtis is a Fort Worth police officer and also helps Lee raise show heifers. Lee shows heifers at stock shows and smaller shows. Most of Lee's heifers are named after people in the I Love Lucy Show. He has Lucy, Little Ricky, and Ethel. Who are all black Angus. He is now showing Winnie who is a crazy simmental heifer. He enjoys all the hard work that goes into raising these animals. Riley is majoring in animal reproduction and loves the lab work she gets to do at the University.
My Job as Principal
In my job, each day presents new opportunities and challenges. I love working with children, and I try to spend time each day with kids who just need to talk for a while. I support the teachers in any way that I can, and I oversee all the activities that involve the Coder Cats. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
